Pantech has just announced what looks like the most powerful Android smartphone to date. The Pantech Vega Racer packs a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz plus the Adreno 220 GPU, which is a mouth-watering combo. Unfortunately at launch the Pantech Vega Racer will only be available in Korea and there's no saying if availability in other regions will follow.

AT&T announces Samsung Strive and Sunburst, Pantech Link and Pursuit, some new services

Today AT&T introduced four new phones - Samsung Strive and Sunburst, Pantech Link and Pursuit. Those are the pioneers for the carrier's new product line of "quick messaging devices", based on new cloud sync and share services.

Samsung Strive is a compact vertical slider sporting 2 megapixel camera, 2.6" QVGA screen, sliding-out QWERTY keyboard, 3G connectivity with HSDPA support, Bluetooth, microSD expansion slot, full messaging package and social-networking suite. The Strive will launch on 21 March for 19.99 US dollars on a 2-year contract.
