Video Leaks Showing Alleged iPhone 5 Booting Up


MIC Gadget originally reported on the photos and video that showed up on Vgooo.com, claiming to show an iPhone boot up to a screen warning the device is not associated with a registered developer account. The video compares the white iPhone 4S and the new white iPhone 5, which features the same design indicated by numerous leaks. The only really questionable element is a fourth hole at the top of the device next to the camera. Also, the proximity sensor and camera have swapped positions as well, with the front facing camera now centered on the device.

YouTube unveils redesign homepage, gets social, adds algorithmic feeds


YouTube unveiled today the biggest redesign of its homepage in history. The revamped interface appears to be part of Google’s move to introduce a social layer to all its products, adding a new emphasis on integrations with social networks like Google+ and Facebook, as well as bringing in new algorithmic channel feeds. The emphasis on channel subscriptions also makes it easy to navigate and watch YouTube as if you were watching TV.

YouTube offering Disney and Pixar movies for rent


YouTube has been stepping up its content offerings to bolster its movie rental service that started about a year ago but has yet to put much pressure on services like Netflix. It added about 3,000 new movies for rent back in May and now it’s also getting Disney and Pixar movie titles, 1,000 of which Netflix just lost access to when it failed to renew its deal with Starz.

It was during the MIX 2011 developer conference back in April when Microsoft gave the first detailed look at its new Windows Phone Mango update. At the time, the company touted new enhancements in support for HTML 5 and CSS3 and did a side-by-side comparison with iOS and Android, showing that IE9 on its Windows Phone blew away the competition in speed. Well, now it looks like Apple is ahead again with the iOS 5.

Video review via emulator WebOS 3.0

PreCentral have managed to acquire a leaked copy of HP’s webOS 3.0 beta 1 software development kit (SDK). Why is this a good thing? Because contained within said SDK rests a TouchPad, webOS 3.0 emulator, of course. While emulators only provide 50% of the TouchPad story — the other half being hardware — it is useful to get a high-level overview of what user interface will look like. Video BlackBerry Storm 3 leak


Today is the first time a video of the BlackBerry Storm 3 has surfaced, It clearly represents a Verizon prototype and has both the Verizon logo and on-phone theming along with a "live air activation" market indicating that it was ready to work on the CDMA and EVDO networks. The Storm 3 will feature the highest resolution display on a BlackBerry to-date and has a 3.7 inch 800 x 480 WVGA capacitive touchscreen, 1.2 GHz Snapdragon processor, and a 5MP camera capable of 720p HD video. The Storm3 might not ship to Verizon until summer.

YouTube announces YouTube Live, live streams content on YouTube


Google’s YouTube on Friday announced that it is rolling out its new YouTube Live beta platform located at www.youtube.com/live. YouTube will use the channel to stream live events, concerts, interviews and more.

This begins with a new YouTube Live browse page (www.youtube.com/live), where you can always find the most compelling live events happening on YouTube and add events to your calendar. If you have iPad tablet and used Photoshop on your Laptop you will like this. Adobe has shown off a real Photoshop app for the iPad at its Photoshop world symposium. The new app promises to allow you a much better photo editing experience and lots more. Adobe offered up a live demo of the new app. One of the key features for the new app is the ability to use layer animation to give a look at what is going on behind the scenes in the app with your photos. The Nokia E6-00 has come out of the shadows yet again, a new photo of the E6 was revealed with the phone sporting a classy black look.
Nokia E6-00 features an 8 megapixel dual-led flash EDoF camera, capable of 720p video recording just as the cameras on the E7-00 and the C6-01. Also, the OS is a special version of the Symbian^3 adapted for 4:3 aspect ratio screens. The screen is what appears to be a 2.6-inch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 640x480 pixels.

Video Apple Peel 520 Gen2 for iPod Touch gen 4


Apple Peel 520 Gen 2 for the iPod Touch has now began shipping in China. The second-generation device will attach to an iPod Touch and give it all the features and then some of an iPhone 4. These include calling, accessing 3G data networks and adding a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to two devices.There is also a built-in Wi-Fi radio and a vibrating function for ringer. The Bluetooth connection will support hands-free handsets for conversations and caller ID is also supported. There are physical answer and end call buttons, and the SIM card slots in from the side. The case also has a built-in battery to prolong the fourth-generation iPod's life.

Video and Picture iPad 2 Wi-Fi Teardown, CPU A5 1Ghz, RAM 512MB


Ifixit already have a 16 GB Wi-Fi model in hand and are tearing it down to see just what's inside the revamped version of Apple's popular tablet device.The iPad 2 seems to use essentially the same Broadcom touch controllers and Wi-Fi chip found in the first-generation iPad and other recent iOS devices. The A5 system-on-a-chip carries manufacture dates of January/February 2011, the three-cell 25 watt-hour battery offers only slightly more power than the 24.8 watt-hour battery found in the original iPad, and comes in a much flatter form factor to help Apple achieve the significantly thinner design for the tablet.

Video 64GB iPhone 4, a supposed prototype leaked by a Foxconn employee, on the back of the device, it has “XXGB” marking, representing the unit as potential Apple prototypes. 64GB iPhone 4 is now on sale for HK$13,500 (US$1,734).
