Dell will launch a 10.8-inch tablet with Windows 8, removable battery support

After a number of failed attempts in the Android tablet market, Dell is looking to readdress the tablet space with Windows 8. According to a leaked document obtained by Neowin, Dell will launch a 10.8-inch tablet with 1,366 x 768-pixel resolution and a dual-core Atom processor later this year. The slate will also be equipped with a fingerprint reader, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, Intel graphics, 2GB of RAM and a massive 128GB solid-state drive. Unlike many other tablets, Dell has included a removable battery that will come in two sizes. A smaller battery will get between six and eight hours of battery life, while a larger one will offer between 10 and 12 hours of usage per charge. The tablet is rumored for a late fall launch, and no pricing details were reported.

Dell 2011 Roadmap several smartphones, tablets

An alleged internal product roadmap has leaked, and it appears to reveal Dell’s complete smartphone and tablet lines for 2011 and the first quarter of 2012, including three smartphones and six tablets.

According to the leaked slides, in September we should be seeing the Dell Hancock, a dual-core and dual-camera beast running (wait for it) Ice Cream on a 4 inch qHD 960x640 display with an 8mp rear camera and 1.3mp front camera. That rear camera shoots 1080p video, by the by.
Not to be outdone, the Dell Millenium follows in Q4 with a 4.3 inch screen, qHD 960x540 resolution,  and DLNA support on top of dual-core Ice Cream goodness. Another 8mp shooter (with 1080p video) appears on the back of this with a VGA front camera.

Dell Streak 7 Tablet officially launched picture, video, specs

Design similar to his brother Streak 5 ", but Streak 7" is a little different, it has a 1.3 megapixel camera before and after the 5.0 megapixel camera. Also configuration has been upgraded with the use nVidia Tegra DualCore T20 1GHz. A little disappointing is the machine running the Android 2.2 not like the other tablet run Android 3.0 Honeycomb.

Dell ST2220T 1080p IPS-panel Multi-touch LCD Monitor now available for $329.99

The Dell ST2220T sports 21.5-inch Multi-touch screen with IPS panel and optical touch technology. Supports finger, stylus or input from any other pointer. Other specs include 1000:1 Contrast Ratio, 82% color Gamut (100% sRGB coverage), 250nit brightness, DVI + VGA + HDMI connectivity, built-in USB 2.0 hub, tilt adjustment capability and more.Naturally, the IPS display is said to provide extra wide viewing angles, but perhaps even more enticing is the monitor's A-frame stand, which tilts the screen forward, backward and even flat. Put that all together with its infrared multitouch and you've got a larger than life tablet for gaming and watching Netflix.

Hands-On Impressions of Dell’s Streak and Aero

We got our hands-on a pre-production prototype of the Streak and the new Dell Aero smartphone, check out our first impressions of the Android devices.
Let’s get one thing straight. The Dell Streak, due to be available from O2 in the U.K. and likely from AT&T in the U.S. sometime soon, is not an Android tablet PC, despite the company’s self-declaration of same, and is not a competitor to the iPad or an iPad killer.

Apple iPad vs. Dell Mini 5 Image show

Occasionally we've had strangers -- very likely non-Engadget readers -- coming up to us and ask, "Sorry mate, but is that the iPad?" To which we reply, "No, it's the Dell Mini 5." This may sound like a silly boo-boo to make, but there is this common misconception of the iPad being just "a bigger iPhone" while not knowing how much bigger it is (despite our best effort). To clear this up once and for all, we've brought the two devices in question together -- the Mini 5 / Streak smartphone on the left, and the iPad on the right. Now it's up to you guys to spread the love.

Each month we compile data for the number of times a particular notebook is viewed on this site's product pages to get an idea for what mainstream consumers are looking at and thinking about buying. Dell Lightning Phone Specification

The mother of all Dell leaks just dropped into our laps, and the absolute highlight has to be the Lightning, a Windows Phone 7 portrait slider. That's right -- a portrait slider. The renders on these slides look slick as hell, but they're no match for the spec sheet, which looks even better

Most Popular Laptops for March 2010

Each month we compile data for the number of times a particular notebook is viewed on this site's product pages to get an idea for what mainstream consumers are looking at and thinking about buying. While these laptops aren't necessarily the most popular in terms of sales, they are the most popular based on the number of times our visitors clicked on them.
In that sense, think of this list as the "most clickable laptops of the month" ... the notebooks that most of the people visiting this site are interested in learning about. Keep in mind that clicks directly on the "Most Viewed Laptops" list do not count toward the total in order to keep the list as fair as possible each month. The only clicks that count toward the monthly totals come from web searches like Google or from visitors who have clicked on a laptop after visiting our "Notebook Database" or inside our forums.

Dell Inspiron i580-5108NBC

The Dell Inspiron i580-5108NBC is an ideal match for users with computing habits that lean toward general applications like simple Internet surfing, word processing, and light media editing. Its 3.2GHz Intel Core i5 560 CPU is well equipped to handle applications like iTunes and Photoshop, and it excelled against the competition in a multitasking environment as well. Dell includes a decent 3D graphics card for casual gaming, but keeps the system affordable with an $830 price tag. If you haven't figured it out by now, we recommend this versatile system for shoppers on a flexible budget that want more functionality than what a low-grade budget computer can offer.
