[MWC 2011] MeeGo Tablet UI more picture and video

Intel's landed at MWC with that very same tablet user interface, except it has done a bit of work to the underlying software and it's finally ready to start letting the press play around with it.
MeeGo is a collaboration between Intel’s Moblin and Nokia’s Maemo, an announcement the two companies made just one year ago from the stages of MWC 2010 in Barcelona.
If you were to closely compare the design of the UI or what Intel is calling its "tablet user experience" to the one we saw back in June, you probably wouldn't notice much of a difference in terms of aesthetics, and that's because most of the work Intel's been doing has been to the code and framework.

Image ASUS Eee Pad models teased

Images ASUS Eee Pad tablets from ASUS have leaked via Techinstyle.tv, possibly in a fashion similar to the controlled “leak” from HTC last week. The images appear to show three different Eee Pad models, each with a 10-inch touchscreen display. While little can actually be gleaned from the photo set, we know at least one model will be powered by Android due to the presence of touch sensitive Android-style menu buttons. This model also appears to have a convertible QWERTY keypad. Another Eee Pad model appears to feature a physical keypad as well. According to previous rumors, one of these tablets should run Windows 7 and sport Intel’s Oak Trail processor, while the other two tablets may run Android atop NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 CPU.

Samsung Gloria, the future Galaxy Tab 10?

Galaxy finished the Tab?  Not at all, the line of tablet 7 "and below will still exist but will be joined by their features, their name and their Android phones. iPad 3G works on T-Mobile, can be hacked to send text messages

Here's a pair of interesting iPad 3G hacks for your lazy Sunday -- first, Apple's tablet is apparently unlocked out of the factory, so trimming a T-Mobile SIM to micro SIM size will get you up and running on EDGE with no further hassle. Not terribly useful in the States, but good news for Europeans who'll have several carrier options right out the gate.
