Onkyo has revealed its latest tablet, the TA117 tablet with NVIDIA's dual-core, 1GHz Tegra 250 chipset and gets Android 2.2. Its 10-inch, 1024x600 screen is mated with a front 1.3-megapixel camera, a microSD memory card slot, an HDMI output and two USB ports. Two models will be offered, including an 8GB C1 that also has 512MB of RAM and a more capacious and faster C3 that gets 16GB of storage and 1GB of memory. A dock is optional, and turns the tablet into a little monitor or photo frame. Claimed battery life is 6.5 hours. Pricing for the TA117 hasn't been revealed, but Japan will get the slate on December 31. The dock arrives late in January.
