HTC HDD Concept Mobile, run Android/Windows Phone 7, 10MP camera, 1.5Ghz Snapdragon

The renowned designer Antoine Brieux has developed a new concept of HTC HDD. The HTC HDD features a 4.8-inch beast of a device with an unusual 870 x 480 AMOLED display — unusual, that is, until you realize that the extra 70 vertical pixels are reserved for a row of virtual softkeys that change depending on the application.
HTC HDD concept phone also includes 10MB camera with dual LED-flash and the ability to record HD-video with a resolution of 1080p, HDMI, Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with a clock speed of 1.5 GHz, 1 GB of RAM and 4G-support networks. HTC HDD can work on the basis of Android 2.2 or Windows Phone 7. Or even switch between them.

Nokia X7 Spec, Picture,Video, AT&T bands?

Nokia X7-00 is the latest Symbian^3 Mobile Phone to come into picture with a video leak which gave many hints to what the phone features. The processor, RAM and graphics of the device seem to be similar to the likes of Nokia N8. The dimension also seems similar with unusual angular design. Even the screen size seems to be close to 3.8 inch. However, the handset is equipped with a 8MP camera. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack located on the top edge. A microUSB port was also spotted in the video.

LG eXpo reviews and video

The LG eXpo is the HTC Tilt 2's competitor on AT&T. While the Tilt 2 features HTC's TouchFLO 3D that makes the smartphone much more fun and modern, the eXpo opts for impressive hardware like the 1 GHz Snapdragon CPU, good 5 megapixel autofocus camera, fingerprint reader and optional pico projector. Both sport a very ample slide-out hardware QWERTY keyboard and an 800 x 480 pixel resistive touch screen. The LG is a bit slimmer and more pocketable than the beefy Tilt 2, but it's still a large phone.

Motorola Devour reviews and video

Now the Moto Droid has a little brother on Verizon, the Devour. The Devour is actually no smaller than the Droid, in fact it's thicker. But the price is lower ($50 less when buying direct from Verizon) and a few specs are weaker: HVGA 320 x 480 display vs. 480 x 854 and a a 3 megapixel fixed focus camera vs. 5 megapixel autofocus. The Devour runs Android 1.6 Donut, while the Droid runs 2.0, but the Devour adds MOTOBLUR for you social mavens.

Motorola Droid solves Lego-encased Rubik's Cube

Oh sure, you've seen your disgustingly hairy cousin solve a Rubik's Cube in 3 minutes and 13.4 seconds, and we've seen quite a few sophisticated robots do it in far less time. But in the latest episode of "Yes, Droid Really Does," we've got Motorola's darling solving a Lego-encased Cube in just over 24 seconds. Let's recap: a Droid, a Mindstorms NXT monstrosity, a Rubik's Cube and faux techno. Is there any chance you aren't clicking through to watch this video?

Windows Phone 7 onto HTC Touch Diamond

If there's any better argument for rigid spec requirements for Windows Phone 7 Series hardware, it's this video of an HTC Touch Diamond running the OS at an especially syrupy pace. Indeed, the lag is so severe that it could very well be some trickery in the form of a RDP client running on a 7 Series emulator, which is in turn running on a PC -- which, now that we think of it, is a pretty good possibility. Whichever way they achieved this feat, it's certainly not a recipe for a viable handset. But we do know that these sort of "ports" are only going to increase as time goes on. See for yourself after the break.

Droid Incredible specs confirmed on Verizon site

Droid Incredible specifications confirmed on Verizon site
Incredible handset. A 3.7-inch OLED touchscreen leads the way, with an 800 x 480 resolution, which will offer the full Google Experience on Android version 2.1. That sounds remarkably like a refashioned Nexus One to us, even down to the 1GHz Snapdragon chip inside, but where the Droid Incredible differs is in its inclusion of Sense UI (à la the Desire) and an 8 megapixel autofocusing camera. We're also seeing GPS and 8GB of integrated memory -- expandable to 24GB via MicroSD cards

Specification, Image, video promo nokia N8

Nokia N8 with 12MP camera and 720p video recording, the latest handset from the Finnish company is on track to becoming the new imaging champ in the mobile phone world.

The 28mm wide angle camera on the Nokia N8 is equipped with Carl Zeiss optics and a xenon flash. Nokia says that the image sensor "rivals those found in compact digital cameras". The camera can also capture 720p HD video at 25 frames per second and offers built-in video editing tools.

Nokia N8 previewed before announcement

The Nokia's first Symbian^3 device and next smartphone flagship N8 just got its first short preview. The handset is now confirmed to capture 720 video and 12 megapixel stills, but apparently the new UI wasn't much to the liking of the reviewer.

HTC CEO confirms Windows Phone 7 device for late 2010

HTC CEO Peter Chou confirmed taht HTC intend to release a Windows Phone 7 series device by the end of this year. This statement ends the speculations that HTC may drop the new OS until Microsoft permit custom UIs.

As you already know, Microsoft have very strict rules for what goes and what doesn't on their new Windows Phone 7 OS and for one, home-brewed user interfaces are forbidden. No manufacturer will have the right to customize the Windows Phone 7 in any way so Microsoft can deliver uniform user experience throughout various devices.

Windows Phone 7 emulator now available

If you are eager to test the new Windows Phone 7 and can't wait until its official launch, there is now a way to do that. Microsoft have released an emulator which gives let's you try out their latest mobile OS straight from your PC.
A standard Windows Phone 7 bin-file comes with the dev kit, but it offers almost nothing except the OS environment. It's intended for developers for testing and debugging their apps.
Shortly after the tools' release however, a new unlocked OS image leaked, packing the Windows Phone 7 OS by Microsoft in its current stage of development. MS are not surprised by the leak but wanted to remind everyone that most of the platform is still in the early stages of its development and none of its parts is even close to a final stage.
Well, the curiosity is the strongest motivator so we tried it and extracted some nice screenshots. As was to be expected, the performance is far from perfect so we can hardly pass a verdict but at least we get the idea what to expect.
