Toshiba intros NB520 and NB500 netbook with dual Atom, Harman speakers


Toshiba has recently launched two new models in its new netbook series called NB500 and NB520 NB, both make the leap to the dual-core, 1.5GHz Atom N550 and can play up to 720p video. The NB520 is more unique still in its audio system: a set of Harman Kardon speakers gives it above-average 4W output and supports Dolby Advanced Audio.
Toshiba NB520 is a more advanced machine, it is the first netbook on the market for premium integrated speakers from Harman Kardon. Stereo speakers on the NB520 has reached 4W power output and supports Dolby Advanced Audio Technology speakers. NB500 and NB520 configuration is basically identical, except for the Harman Kardon speakers (no NB500) and dual core Intel Atom processor N550 (using NB455 NB500). In addition, both have screen 10.1 "resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, 250GB hard drive, 2GB DDR3 RAM and battery operation time of about 10 hours.
