iOS 5 Will Allow You To Use Volume Button On iPhone Headset To Snap Photos


Apple has updated the Camera app in iOS 5 with number of new features and improvements.
One of the features is the ability to use the volume-up button as a hardware shutter button for the camera, instead of relying on the on-screen button.

It looks like you will also be able to use the volume-up button on the iPhone headset with remote and mic as a hardware shutter button for the camera in iOS 5.

It’s a useful feature, as using the volume-up button as the hardware shutter button for the camera is a lot more user friendly than the on-screen button.
The volume up button to snap photos was first seen in rejected iPhone apps like Camera+ (who had to remove it to be reapproved to the App Store) and jailbreak apps like SnapTap.
