The Service pack 1 for Office for Mac 2011 is now available, go to any Office application on your Mac and Check for Updates you will download 246MB of SP1, this update “fixes critical issues and also helps to improve security,” the release notes say.

New features and enhancements include support for Exchange based server-side rules and editing of existing messages in Outlook.
Fixes for “vulnerabilities that an attacker can use to overwrite the contents of your computer’s memory with malicious code.”You can also redirect the message to a person with the replies delivered to the original sender in Outlook and resend the message.
The much-needed calendar syncing is another welcome addition. It works between Outlook for Mac and any service or device that supports Apple’s Sync Services, including the iPhone and iPad.
